Spent 3 nights here for business and was creeped out at night with the alley entrance when checking inbbut was pleasantly surprised by the the spacious rooms in the deluxe suite. Great central location but the breakfast was under my expectations, better to grab something at Wagas down the street

Great accommodation located slightly off the street at Middle Huaihai Road (less traffic noise). We were upgraded to a very spacious suite after the room we booked on non-smoking floor was reeking of cigarettes! Staff were very courteous & prompt in addressing our concerns. The room is furnished in very charming Chinese style and has a PC with internet access.... More

Kia ora and warm Pacific greetings. This was my first long haul trip to the northern hemisphere from New Zealand. Because the hotel is so centrally located I was not expecting the hotel to be so quite which was great for me being a light sleeper. The room was very tastefully decorated but Chinese beds are very hard indeed. We... More

This hotel needs to be refurbished. If you are not particular with cleanliness, then you will think this is good value for money. It's quite central and yet it's cheap. But oh my. We stayed one night because we arrived late and were so tired. We got their two bedroom suite and was horrified - carpets were stained, sofa was... More

Small, Chinese art-filled hotel located in a model courtyard between Changle Road and HuiHui Road shopping district in the best part of town. If you love Chinese rosewood furniture, porcelain, and art as I do, you will love this gem of a hotel. I booked a business suite, which has a screen blocking off the bedroom area (with a swivel... Our room was large, light and high standard with a decor that blended modern functionality with a traditional chinese flavour - the photos are quite accurate. I found it a refreshing change from bland modern hotel room designs. This compact hotel borders a small park, and is up a laneway off Hui Hai Road, which make it a bit hard... More

The reasonably priced room was huge and includes a sitting area a kitchenette, eating area and desk. Nicely decorated, with updated bathroom. The location was wonderful, on a quiet lane tucked in behind the busy HuaHai Road. Walking distance to French Concession, Xintiandi and to Fuxing Park.

Location, location, location - that is what this hotel is all about. Right in the middle of HUAIHAI ROAD but you could easily miss it as it is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of one of the busiest shoping roads in Shanghai. Mile after mile of designer shops make this the ideal place to spoil your lady. The... More
