A very good hotel in Pudong. The breakfast in the business lounge was very good. Pool was a bit small. Room was large and comfortable.

Everything looks like it's been recently renovated. My room was big, had a good sized desk and a modern office chair. Internet over the cable was fast (except for the websites blocked in China, of course). There was a big screen TV with a good choice if channels. The bathroom was also very nice with a modern shower (with one... More

Service is excellent most of the time, minus a couple of incidents that spoil their name. A couple of waiters at breakfast were perpetually yawning away, practically slided the coffee pot over like a streetside eatery boy. We could not get good information from the conceirge about the places we want to visit as well, which was disappointing. Rating a... More

Stayed for 5 nights on business. Big hotel that was a St Regis. Not in the heart of Shanghai - the local area is more traditional but not that far from the Bund, an easy taxi ride. Room was lovely, very big, great facilities and amenities (razors, toothbrush etc but you had to find them in the drawer by the... More

I stayed here by myself on business in early March 2012 for one night. The good: -the staff are very well-trained and all interactions were very good -spectacular welcome with at least five staff -good upgrade to Luxe Suite -chocolates as welcome amenity The bad: -the location in Pudong is not particularly convenient -the rooms are very worn -staff burst... We stayed here for one night en route to Australia. We have visited the hotel on a previous occasion, but not as guests. We were welcomed on arrival by front desk and doorman who were all polite and efficient. We were offered an upgrade to club lounge for less than the cost of breakfast, so obviously took advantage of it.... More

I have had the fortunate occasion of staying here several times in the past and it just keeps getting better and better. From your initial approach, there are the helpful and so-friendly bell men. The front desk staff is incredible with language issues, local questions and money exchange. Loved our amazing butlers - fast and totally broke any language and... More

Having stayed many times in St regis Singapore, one of its newest properties, we expected St Regis Shanghai to be of similar standard. It was not to be. We booked a total of 5 rooms for 4 nights, thinking that we would be able to enjoy the luxury of St Regis hotels. The hotel was old, i was told later... More

I arrived here in the middle of March 2011 for a two-night stay, when it was still under the St Regis brand. I reserved the Deluxe King room directly on the hotel website. After taking the Maglev from Shanghai’s Pudong airport, I took a taxi from the Longyang Road station, which was the terminus station for the Maglev. The taxi... More

This is a really nice hotel with a lot of extras. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, well appointed. Lots of amenities - lots of free bottle water, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, internet, in room safe, newspapers. The breakfast is nice, lots of variety and food is good. The dining room is nice, quiet and not crowded. The Italian restaurant... More
