This is my favorite place to stay in Shanghai. Stay on the Club Level if you can and take advantage of the Marriott Club and the highest library in the world. On a clear day the view is fantastic - unfortunately the pollution in Shanghai works against that. Rooms are clean and large. The staff is friendly and helpful. If... More

Great hotel for business stay. Although maybe just shy of top class, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed on the executive/club level, which offers a terrific breakfast. Hotel seems to attract a health-conscious clientele as the fitness center was busy even at 5.30am. More expensive/exclusive options are available for business travelers to Shanghai, but this one was pretty good.... More

Needless, to say that this refine and luxurious hotel has everything a person needs to have the vacation of your life. It is located in the heart of Shanghai. Everything is just frets away. Services are unparallel and exclusive. Views from your room that will leave you amazed. Exquisite breakfast at the lobby restaurant and exquisite atmosphere at their business... More

My title says it all! I have stayed at this hotel a total of 11 nights during several trips to shanghai during the past three months. Only complain is their marriott cafe dinner buffet. They charged me more than 60 dollars, and the food is average at best. I dropped in after a 13 hr flight, and didn't ask for... More

This was my 5th stay here - all for business meetings. The location is central to almost everything and close to restaurants and the accessory plaza for shopping. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The gym is large with plenty of quality machines and free weights as well. The last time I was there I had a Thai massage that... More

We stayed at this hotel during our 4 day visit in Shanghai. The location of the hotel is excellent with the subway station just a short walk across the hotel. The Shanghai Museum is also close by about a 5 min walk. We walked from the Bund back to the hotel one night which took approximately 40 min; it was... More

Marriott matched my SPG status, so I was upgraded to a corner room. Upgrade perks (breakfast, happy hour, bigger room) were all greatly-appreciated. The service was great. The location is awesome. The views second-to-none. Having said this, the rate seemed high for what we got....

If you take away the views, the hotel is pretty standard business hotel fare. Nice lobby, slightly tired rooms, over priced cocktails and a staff who's English is good. Location is fine as nothing is more then a 15 min cab ride, though you should give yourself 5-10 min to get a cab as they are not always readily available.... More

We decided to stay at this hotel - JW Marriott Executive Apartments- after reading reviews on several sites. We had booked a 3 bed / 3 bathrooms apartment with kitchen, washing machine, dish washer, microwave etc. There were 2 bedrooms with double beds and the third room was a study with a folding sofa bed classified as a 3rd bedroom.... Pricelined 3 nights for $120 US / night. The hotel is located on Nanjing Road (known for shopping) and 5 minute walk from Line 2 Metro. Excellent location. The Bund is 15 minutes by foot along Nanjing Rd. or 20 RMB by taxi. All rooms are on or above the 38th floor of this beautiful tower. Stayed on the 49th... More
