I had read the mixed reviews of this hotel and was a little apprehensive. I had booked this for our first trip to China, Positives. Easy to find and easy walk fro Metro. Easy to get to on Metro from the airport (direct line to East Ninjing station ). Very close to the Bund. Staff helpful.

fantastic location near to the Bund and very good prices, particularly if you go through an agency. clean, quiet room with an outside terrace and very helpful staff. i didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food. free wifi and a desk to work at that isn't cluttered up with an oversize tv.
