The location is right next to the subway so it makes it easy to get around. The rooms were of a decent size with fairly hard beds which could be passable. The bathroom was forever damp as the fan was pretty much useless. There was only a cheap shower curtain so water tended to leak everywhere.

The best of being here is staffs. Thai airways sent my backpack to the wrong flight. The staffs here help me to find my backpack until I got it in 2nd day of staying here. Especially, the staff named 'Wangyi' he helped carry our baggage and I forgot the key card. He helped me to open the door :) the room... More

I've stayed at this hostel multiple times in the last few years and it has always been a fabulously positive experience. The staff have always been nice, friendly, helpful and can speak English very well. I've been to a number of 3 and 4 star hotels (and even one 5 star) in China where the front desk can barely speak... More

Good location, just 10-15 mins walk from Nanjing Road(East) Metro Station. I chose to stay the BM hostel near The Bund. I chose a double room with window and the view is nice. The day I checked in, I found the table of the room was so dusty. The bedsheet were stained. The towels were old. It's nice that they... More

I stayed here in a 6 bedroom on the second week of october The room was ok, not too big and quite clean, the same with toilet (chinese style). If you have more money, ask for the private room, because those are really really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You also can get some payed food from... More

Stayed in the Blue Mountain in 2012. This could be a potentially excellent hostel, as the staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the food (especially the Chinese options) are excellent. BUT, during the evening the place is very noisy. Lots of shouting and screaming from other guests. This goes on every single night until early in the morning. The... More

This hostel is perfectly located for a traveller anxious to see the city, and not just the Bund and East Nanjing Road. It's centrally located directly across the street from the Luban subway station. I stayed in a 3-person private dorm, it was pretty sweet. It was clean and tidy. The bathroom, while small, has everything you need. And it... More

The room has towels, slippers, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, tv and almost everything a budget hotel should have. Only diff is that there's no window and they do not tidy up every single morning for you, which is fine with us. We're not choosy people. The bed is SOFT and comfy. Well, read that from other's their room was noisy by... More
