The room has towels, slippers, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, tv and almost everything a budget hotel should have. Only diff is that there's no window and they do not tidy up every single morning for you, which is fine with us. We're not choosy people. The bed is SOFT and comfy. Well, read that from other's their room was noisy by... More

My bf and I stayed in a private room here for 3 nights. The first room we got was right by a pool table, and we ended up changing to a different room because people were playing 24/7 and it was very difficult to sleep. Our second room was closer to the bar, and that too ended up being the... More

1) Don't get discouraged by 'Hostel' in the name. We found the private room with balcony to be very spacious and ideal for family. 2) The location is the key. It is just 2-3 blocks away from famous and colorful Nanjing street and metro station. You can walk to Bund in about 15-20 minutes. On your way to Nanjing street,... More

If you book a private room, make sure it is not near the common area as you won't get any sleep. Otherwise the hostel appears well run and clean and tidy. More

Stayed a few nights on a backpacking trip through China. Located only a few blocks from The Bund, E. Nanjing Road and the Subway. Hostel food is good but pricey compared to local restaurants and vendors. Atmosphere is friendly and staff helpful. Clean communal bathroom will bring you back to your college days if you're not used to staying in... More

I loved this hostel. It was clean, there were a lot of showers, and there was a TV and computers area. The only negative was that the first night we had to sleep in the bar area because they overbooked during the Shanghai Expo season, but we got to sleep there for free at least. Still, I highly recommend this... More

The location is great. Quick walk to E. Nanjing Rd, The Bund, and Line 2 of the subway station. Other than that, it's just average. The rooms are ok. A staff member named Echo was very helpful, the other staff members were not very helpful. The building is undergoing some major construction, so the sleep quality was poor. No restaurant,... More

I think me and my mate were a little disappointed with this hostel. Certainly no major problems with it. however, the rooms were cold (not helped by the sub zero temperatures) as the heating only turned on while you were in the room. this may be a chinese thing, but id expect free maps from hostels and you had to...
