So..I arrive at hotel 7am expecting immediate access to room after paying for it for the night before, advising them of my arrival time and getting confirmation from them. Yeap...room not ready. After 10 minute argument with the Manager got upgraded for another 15US bucks. The room was outstandingly cheap for what it was. Separate bedroom, lounge and full on... More

It's almost impossible find a 4 star hotel in Shanghai with this rate and this position. The quality is guarantee by the management of The Longemont Group and for sure all the staff can speak English. Room in building number 1 are spacious and almost new, in building number 2 are smaller and older, but for sure also more and... More

I stayed here on my short visit to Shanghai. From outside it looks more like an apartment building, rather than a hotel.... Well nothing great at this place. Rooms are really tiny & service just okay. Location is not bad, though it might take you a while to reach Pudong area due to long queues in tunnel......... Mine was a... More

This hotel is situated at Xuhui town center and quite near to few shopping malls. However, at night, most shops were closed early. The hotel itself was OK, maybe above average, 4 stars perhaps. Breakfast was good. Room was average size, beds were soft. The shower control was not ideal; the hot and warm water mix was absence and all... More

Don't get fooled by the cheap prize and the relatively good location. It doesn't break the deal. The rooms had the same temperature as outside which was 10 degrees C. I said to them that it is so cold in the room and they answered that I should put something more on me (I was already dressed, they expected that... More

True it was somewhat cheaper, but I don't think the lower standards were worth the savings- things were chipped, neither sink nor shower drained well. I didn't get the balcony room I asked for. Overall the room was okay, but I didn't really trust it after all the things that had gone wrongish. Neighborhood is acceptable for transport and food/shopping... More

It is ok hotel, not far from cental stations of Shanghai- 15min on a bus. Plenty shops around- even Tesco opposite the hotel. It is not very modern hotel, but this didnt bother me. Stayed at the hotel during a short business trip to Shanghai. Selected it as a reasonably priced place that was okay for a couple of nights. Basically, that was it - it was okay for two nights but not for more. The hotel is reasonably located with services nearby and not too far from central destinations. The lobby is very... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this month. We were travelling in a group of 12 people. The rooms were decent enough. We had a major problem with the temperature control as the temperature started increasing in the middle of the night. It had reached 30 deg C by 1am so we called maintenance. They had a problem...
