It was during the Tomb Sweeping Festival and I accidentally booked the wrong night for a different hostel. These guys accepted us no problem. It was expensive (I think) around 400RMB a night for two beds, but the room was clean (despite a few insects) and really convenient.
I can't give a really good review because we stayed one night...

Near the French concession and most of Shanghai's bars and clubs so if that is a priority this is a really good choice.
The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are new so there is all the necessities

We stayed in this hotel because we wanted to see the historical French Concession area of Shanghai. The rates were very reasonable. The room was small but very clean and the bathroom and shower were very modern. The staff does not speak much English but they are helpful and polite. It is close to lovely parks, historic sights, and shopping.
