Like many others we didn't stay here, but we did eat here often and dived through the school here. We found the food good and reasonable, and the beer cheap. We found the service excellent and friendly. The hair braiding was less than half the price of Mana Resort and the ladies so friendly. We really enjoyed the dive school... More

I didn't plan on staying here but after the Nadi floods derailed my plans, I ended up here for 3 nights in the beginning of April. Overall, the situation at Ratu Kini's was probably very different because a number of people had been 'stranded' on Mana due to the tropical depression or whatever (read: big storm). I stayed in the... More

A great location, with some amazing views, however I found the resort to be dirty. Poor privacy in some of the toilets.

I stayed here for a couple nights at the end of my Fiji trip and had a really nice time despite departing Octopus resort where I met a lot of great friends. When I first showed up I was a bit taken back by the fact the resort next door keeps up a giant fence with barbed wire and a... More

Men watch you through the windows when you shower, use the toilets, and change. This was bar none the most terrible place I have ever stayed. I spent 2 weeks backpacking around Fiji and had a wonderful time everywhere until ratu kini. Men from the village around the dorm room (I stayed in the 16 bed) would watch the girls... More

We did not actually stay here. We stayed at the Mana Resort. However, we dined at Ratu Kini's restaurant for every meal except two! The prices for food at the Mana Resort are very expensive and the food quality is below average. For example, for a buffet breakfast at the Mana Resort, it's FJ$33 per person and the dinner is... This is just another typical backpackers, basic rooms, simple food, on a beach which isn't all that great. The reception staff is really rude, unfriendly and it's all about the money. They overcharged my room and immediately threatened to bring to tourist police if I wouldn't pay for it. This only proves the increasing commercializing of the Mamanuca Islands, I... More

We didn't stay at Ratu Kinis or dive with them. My family is vegetarian, and if it wasn't for the top notch grub at Ratu Kinis we would have starved in the vegetarian wasteland that is Mana Island Resort. Great value. Super friendly, lovely place. Also the same beer at less than half the price of the resort. Sorry Mana... More

I didn't actually stay at the hotel, I was staying at the resort next door. However, I practically spent all my time on Mana Island at Ratu Kini's Restuarant/Bar and Dive shop!! Did my PADI open water course, and loved it!!! Thanks Mike, Marion and team!!! Great atmosphere, and all the staff at Ratu Kini's are very very very friendly!!!... More

Great little place to chill out for a few days even if you are not into diving. Bit of entertainment each evening, maybe a few games, definitely a few songs and a welcome for everyone who arrived that day. The boat trips are reasonably priced and plenty of other island visitors seem to congregate at Ratu Kinis (because of the... More
