We were looking for a 'do-nothing' holiday to unwind. We'd been to mainland Fiji many times, but wanted something better. We researched the island resorts heavily on this website, and settled on Musket Cove based on value, and the very good reviews. We weren't disappointed. We had 10 days in a beachfront bure in mid May, and absolutely loved it.... More

Enjoyed this place. Lovely setting, about an hour's boat ride from Denauru. We had a spacious, well apointed, pieceful Garden Bure. The staff were delightfully friendly, things can happen island time, but in a very well-natured way. Food was only average, but the curry night good and the pig on a spit great. There are BBQ packs and BBQs available... More

We have just returned from 3 nights at Musket Cove resort. The resort is located in a stunningly beautiful spot but is tired and incredibly overpriced for what you get. We stayed in a beachfront bure which was very disappointing and well below what one would expect - especially for the price. They would likely have been lovely when they... More

We have stayed numerous times at Musket Cove over the years. We have always stayed in a beachfront villa which has been clean and quite spacious (although last trip some of the slats kept coming off the wooden shutters). There is also air conditioning in these villas now, which was very appreciated as we were there in March! The food... More

Stayed for 10 days in September in a garden bure. The weather was a very pleasant 28 degrees (27 in the water). You catch the ferry at Port Denerau and 45 minutes later you are slurping down a nice chilled coconut. There are no roads on the island. The bures are nice and clean and have a toaster and cutlery... Overall, we had a great time at Musket Cove. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and we had great access to amenities like snorkeling, kayaking, pools, book exchange library and the like. We were travelling with a large group, and admittedly there were a number of hiccups along the way: bill queries, toasters and hot water systems not working,... More

We were part of a large wedding party, and a group of us rented the Villa Marau. The photos on the website dont do this place justice. The views from here were amazing, the rooms were fantastic. We got to see the Armstrong villas and the Bures as well; all of the rooms are similar in size and amenities. Depends... More

We spent 7 nights at Musket Cove recently, stayed in one of the Armstrong Villas. The villa was exceptional, simple decore fitting a tropical island paradise set over a lagoon. This came with the use of a pool especially for those who stayed in the Armstrong Villas. The villa was very clean, serviced daily, grounds were well kept, staff were... More

Whilst we had alovely stay at Musket Cove and enjoyed our Armstrong villa and all the amenities like snorkelling, kayaking, the pools, we were a bit annoyed by always having a wrong bill or being double charged. When you go on holiday, you would like to relax and not having to watch out that constantly something is being added to... More

At the end of our fantastic family holiday in Fiji (we had 5 nights on Matamanoa Island which was magic), we booked one nights stay at Musket Cove Resort. We were travelling in a group of six adults. We arranged to be picked up by speedboat from Matamanoa by Musket Cove (was much cheaper than Sea Fiji). The boat was... More
