the exact replica of the image you have in your head of a tropical paradise. Tiny island, palm trees, incredibly friendly staff, tasty, simple food, fantastic snorkeling directly off the beach, opportunities for diving. Dorms are clean and simple but what more do you need?

As a island experience an overnight visit to Leleuvia is well worth while. However: I took part in the very first marine project in Feb 2009. I am saddened to read the negative reports. The local people were wonderful. There were minor issues with water supplies but the food was at that time adequate and good - especially the lovu....

Wow, wow, wow! Awesome place although basic. The Island is small but stunning and sorrounded by the most amazing diving and snorkeling you can imagine.
The marine life and corals just blow your mind! South Pacific Projects is a very organised and professional set up with well-trained instructors with a real love for marine life and teaching safe diving practices....

The only reason you would want to go to Leleuvia Island was if you were sold accommodation by a dodgy travel agent, or you were 'volunteering' at vast expense for South Pacific Project - and it both cases i would say DONT DO IT.
