Had to stay here with the softball team over spring break. Room was comfortable and clean. Just an older hotel that had been remodeled about five years ago it seemed. Throw in the breakfast for free and the value goes up greatly. $10 per person plus drinks, tax etc makes breakfast each day not worth the extra costs. No microwave... More

Our first time to LA (Lower Alabama) and we love the Island House. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, beach view and nice pool area. It is also convenient to a lot of great restaurants while retaining an atmosphere of separation from the crowds.

Was a nice place on the main road. Very close to the Flora Bama and other places. Awesome views, decent rooms. Nice pool area and a walkway down to the beach.. Nice Bar & Restaurant. They have security and porters. Will stay here again.

We loved this hotel. Very convenient to lots of restaurants. Being right on the beach was great. Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Being about to walk outside and watch the Mardi Gras parade was great. We will be back!!!

Very nice hotel in which every room has a window and outdoor balcony facing the ocean! Love the elevator music. Free internet that worked well!!!
