We arrived at the Casa Anjuna and were immediately wowed by what a beautiful, tranquil oasis it was: quiet bubbling fountain in the central courtyard, exquisitely designed rooms with lovely antique furniture, lush and well maintained garden. We knew it would be more upscale than our usual cheap-and-cheerful hotels, as we were paying a fairly high rate (4000 INR per... More

Just behind Anjuna beach nestled in one of the small by-lanes is an old Goan bungalow converted into a hotel. It’s called Casa Anjuna. The beach is a 20 minute amble. And the flea market is one cigarette away... well, a cigarette and a half if you are a quick puffer. The property is run by a bunch of very... More

We stayed here for 3 days at the beginning of April this year (we had planned to stay longer but felt we had to cut our losses & move on) Firstly, we'd like to say that the actual house, the furniture, the gardens, the pool, everything lived up to our expectations LOOKS wise. The family who owned it were friendly,... More

We stayed at the Casa Anjuna for 5 nights over the New Year. The hotel is a lovely old Portuguese house in a beautiful garden. The pool area is small and does not have much sunshine although there are beds to lie on around the pool. The restaurant and breakfast area are in the courtyard/garden. The hotel is quiet. The... Beautiful building, and interior decoration, full of character. Old colonial villa with quirky architectural details, filled with antiques and interesting old furniture pieces. Even the bright colour scheme works in a bohemian way. But it is shabby, and appears dirty, even though it may not be actual dirt, but accumulated scrapes and marks all over the floors and walls make... More

rooms are nice and staff is helpful but the rest is dissapointing. The beach is not really close and the track to go there is dirty and not really nice at all. It advertise as a boutique hotel and the atmosphere could be there but there is a real need for proper maintenance (rooms, towels, pool, sunbeds ...). Anjuna beach... More

I traveled to India last year and for the most part really enjoyed my time in Goa. Compared to Mumbai, Delhi, and Kochi I found Goa to be the most relaxing. I stayed at the Casa Anjuna for 4 days and the first 3 days were in line with my expectations. The food was priced at a premium relative to... More

While Casa Anjuna has all the charms and characteristics of a boutique hotel - they really need to sort out the basics. The room we were first checked into had stained bed sheets and quilts, which were replaced promptly when pointed out however. This should've have been checked beforehand. The bathroom was also dirty and had to request a clean... More

Awesome Place to Stay. Beautiful Rooms with the real touch of Goa in each Room. Great Food. Overall, very good experience. The only negative is the distance from the most happening & nearest beach - Anjuna !
