“Wonderful 8 wk Stay for Jamiesons”

My husband's work took us to Decatur and Home Town Suites for 8 wks. The friendly staff keep the grounds and building spotlessly clean. Our little dog felt right at home with lots of walking areas. My husband has been working at the bp plant in decatur for some time now and we have stayed in about 6 different area hotels. HTS is by far the best. full size kitchen, great wifi, clean rooms. After staying there he doesnt want to stay any where else.

Chose to stay here for a week after selling our home and prior to moving into new home. The rates for weekly stay is our reason for staying here. The room would have been fine if everything worked properly. Had issues with plumbing and was eventually moved to another room only to have same problem. The place was extremely noisy.... More

This was our second time staying here and just like before no problems at all. We actually arrived on Thanksgiving. Punched our code in, got inside punched our code in the safe got our keys and got to our room. As before the room was clean. No complaints what so ever for us. We plan on making this our place... Great stay ! very helpful staff! Clean rooms,nice pool large grilling area, I would tell anyone to I know to try this or any of the other HTS chains.the hotel is located the mist if Decatur, We were offered a free gym membership as well as a resturant dining program and discounts to other venues in towm .Loved the trip

There is no rating under one. Be careful when you make reservations at this hotel. We never will again. They cancelled all 17 of our rooms for a high school team and parents/chaperones for 1 of the biggest cross country meets in SE USA 12 days before the event. We apologize for the inconvenience to your group created by the necessity to relocate your reservations to another hotel. As you mentioned, we are an extended stay hotel and sometimes our long-term guests do need to stay with us longer than they originally expected.
