The Resort is quite far from downtown Kolkata and airport as well, almost two hour and one hour respectively by car. It is suitable for people who looks for serenity. The rooms and cottages are beautiful, built in typical indian houses with all modern facilities. They are very spacious also. But if you want to roam around the city, it... More

Days of absolute bliss. Drive in from the gate to the reception area gives one enough idea about the upcoming experience and ironically the expectation bar is raised. Tranquility and peace is all around. Amidst the sprawling lush green gardens spread enveloped a huge lake placid. Clean and well appointed, spacious accommodation eager to merge with nature. Birds chirping all... More

As far as Hotel property is concerned it is very good, rooms are very spacious and view is also very good. The Food is good and swimming pools is also nice.... More

A nice resort in a well groomed garden. Nice and spacious suites around a lake, tranquility everywhere. Very relaxing and inviting to laze around! Good food. Spacious and pleasant big ball room, suitable for events with more than 100 people. stayed in a suite with an enormous bathroom (big walk in bath, room for two in the bath), a separate... More

If you are looking for a few days of absolute clam this is the place to be. Located in a beautiful garden village the hotel offers you also a fast and reliable internet connection for free (however, in the lobby only). The gym is okay for India but compared to Europe nothing special in fact worn. The rooms are very... More

A good place for weekend escape with family and children. But beware you will never find even a single smiling staff in the premises. My strong feeling is that the staff are trained not wish and not to smile. The property is very big and you need a golf cart to go around it is away from the croud of... More

We stayed here in early January 2012. Two friends and I traveled to Calcutta for the sole purpose of going to Mother Teresa's House and orphanage (which if you are going to Calcutta you must not miss--these are the most delightful and holy women!). We wanted to stay somewhere out of the craziness of the city that would give us... More

I have been to vedic village very recently. It is a very nice resort, very near to the airport and superbly made. The rooms and the view from rooms is very refreshing. Since its a Spa resort, must try out the spa facilities here, especially aromatherapy. An ideal place for a weekend getaway for people who live in kolkatta.
