the hotel is in the city centre and hence is very crowded and noisy. Accessibility is high as all public transportation can be availed. Rooms are deent sized, food was just about average. Price wise its reasonable. Staff service is average. Good hotel for business travellers

The place is centrally located however, my advice is one should avoid it! The guys might be very pleasant initially however, once you check in, the behaviour is different. The flush was not working, had to change the room! The remote of AC was missing. There was loudest music possible on 3 floor as the hotel runs discotheque inside the... More

I stayed in the hotel for a business trip. The hotel is at a safe location with a lot of eating joints nearby like Picadilly. Its restaurant has a good selection of food items. But the rooms are not very hygienic. The service level is above average.

Although the Hotel is centrally located but falls falt on all other counts.Rooms are cramped and they need some serious overhaul of the furniture and furnishing. Breakfast is a terrible and and body staying on weekends will face tough time due to noise coming from the disc on the ground floor. Staff is not very friendly and have a take... More

Hotel has a decent team and simple service structure. Rooms are good and spacious. Centrally located and just 10-20 mins drive to places like Esplanade, Bara Bazaar. There is no much amenity other than enjoying room but two nice attachments are there. Disco and Tea Bar. Breakfast should not be missed. Very tasty and beautiful Presentation for serving. Improvement needed... More

I have stayed at Samilton several times over many years. The maintenance level has dropped. The room furniture and fittings need an upgrade. The complimentary breakfast is meagre. There seems to be a disco in the building (or parties) that result in a lot of late night noise. The location is convenient, taxis are available outside. There is a late... More

Let us strat from the lobby ,really small and dirty, the lady on the front desk hdoest care for anything.Manager of the hotel is arguably the rudest person in the hospitality industry.Rooms are old and the fixtures are even older.complimentary breakfast is worst. The only positive thing about the hotel is complimentary wifi connection. So I would not suggest to stay in this... I have stayed in several hotels all across India and abroad. I have stayed in many categories of hotels - especially budget and mid-range hotels. Please note that when I selected Samilton, I was not expecting any luxuries. All I wanted was a decent place to stay without paying much. And what I got was extremely crappy service, absolutely crazy... More

Samilton is a mid budget hotel on busy sarath bose road. It's lobby is very very small and that includes two PC kept to serve as 'business' center. Rooms are ok, but one should try to avoid rooms facing the road as it can get noisy. Bathrooms looks old and deteroirating. Overall service is bit tardy as the staff seems... More
