I was in chennai for some official work and needed to catch bus from Koyambedu bus stand early in the morning. Since planned stay was little over 6 hours, i was looking for a cheap hotel. Goldmine fitted the budget ...room was decent, large old type bathroom.. TV remote needed some repair...recommend to stay for bachelors if one has to...

Positives: Located just 100 metres from CMBT, Koyambedu. Hotel has its own decent restaurants. Very good food options nearby as well including A2B. Responsive staff
Apart from these points, the hotel is almost a dump. Lack of maintenance is clearly visible. Everything looks old, tired and worn. Stay here only if you need a place to crash for the night....

good hospatality with very good location. Having best resturant of chennai.
This is a good hotel But i faced lot of lot of bedbugs in my room.Some how managed to stay there but other services are good.Also the food you get here in the restaurant is excellent one..Typical fast food that serves instant needs.Just opposite to the Bus stand this hotel is in a good location.
