Nice homely place to stay in a a wonderful neighborhood of Chennai. You feel that you are staying at someone's home and it is wonderful to walk along the street in the morning. I really recommend this place. Internet connections are wonderful.

As a frequent traveler to Chennai, my requirements of an hotel/guest house are comfortable rooms, good location, attentive service, flexible check in/out timings, work area/meeting place and nice homely food. Nice decent cultural ambience , with quite and peaceful surrounding . Serves great indian food ...(pls dont expect an immediate hotel kind of service for food...) the cook cooks fresh and serves..so it may take time ...but food quality and taste is excellent.

Great place. Clean rooms. I forgot my shaving-kits and essentials when I had to rush to chennai for an urgent meeting. But Niketana had almost all the things I needed for a pleasent stay. Food was clean and quite ambiance. Will stay again.
