The staff are here are so friendly and courteous, nothing ever too much trouble. Super swimming pool with poolside bar. Very good choice of food all times of the day. All rooms are individual and air-conditioned, very comfortable and well furnished.

Samode Haveli ,Jaipur In April 2012, whilst on a 10 day tour in Central India, I had a fascinating and memorable 2 night experience staying in this Luxury Heritage Hotel tucked away inside the old city walls of Jaipur. After a week of visiting Central India on a escorted private tour by Castle and king, Tour Operators of New Delhi... More

We spent a wonderful 3 nights here. We were travelling to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and my brother's recent marriage. On arrival we were all upgraded to the most amazing rooms and the Honeymoon suite allocated to my brother, was spectacular. The hotel is an oasis of calm surrounded by the business of Jaipur. The décor made it feel... More

The setting of this hotel is tucked away behind the hussle and bussle of Jaipur. It is set around a quadrangle with water gardens which is where you can dine in the evenings out under the stars with an indian musician playing the sitar - very romantic. The room/suite was lovely and comfortable and very clean. There is a lovely... More

This is a real experience hotel with wonderful rooms all set in the amazing building full of History. The pool and dining areas are lovely, clean and romantic for dining. We stayed in room 110 which was very special - double height, painted walls, good bathroom. We would have two concerns. Be prepared for staff really focusing on getting a... More

This is a very well run hotel. Our room was upgraded and was massive with a huge modern bathroom, in a quiet area, so we slept really well. We enjoyed the food and the breakfast was pretty good, enjoyed having toast and eggs made to order and brought to our outdoor table. Spent a few hours on one of the... More

Beware of booking the sheesh mahal.at a generous 250+ quid - the special mirrored room clearly pictured on their web site. There are in fact 2 of them, which they dont tell you when you book. And if they get a better booking, they will bump you to the poor-relation, barely there sheesh mahal junior (totally not worth the price)... More

We arrived after an overnight train journey and got room 109 which is huge with a four poster bed, massive bathroom with sunken bath and private balcony. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. We were there for New Year's Eve so had the amazing Gala Dinner where there were dancers and musciains who were excellent. Food was good... More

The old city of Jaipur is very chaotic but Samode Haveli just inside it is a welcome oasis . We were in the part of the hotel with the traditional haveli rooms and extra large bathrooms. We were a group of five people in three rooms and they accommodated us in adjoining rooms . We even had private courtyard to... More

This hotel is in a great location, where you can walk to the old Jaipur sights easily. We were in the old part of the hotel, where the room had a four poster bed and lovely traditional bathroom (huge). The area around the pool is very comfortable with very friendly staff around to cater for all your needs. The staff... More
