Firstly, i wholeheartedly agree with Soozsierra's review. I would only add that the rooms are very comfortable, the entertainment was lovely and gave us all a chance to enjoy a fun night. At meal times the manager was telling every single guest what each dish was and also made sure that anyone who was a bit picky was given an... More

Sadly we only stayed here for one night. How we wish it had been more. It was a very welcome stop on an unwise fairly hectic tour. The food was wonderful, especially as all the vegetables are grown locally. We had the priviledge to be taken to the village by camel cart. Such lovely friendly people. The evening was filled... We arrived and were greeted by music and dancers which put a smile on everyone's faces. The food was the best we had during our stay in India and the rooms were authentic but great. Very beautiful surroundings with mountains and a lovely garden. We were sad to leave!

The staff are lovely and helpful. Food delicious and overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to thank everyone in the village for being so welcoming. Please remember this is a retreat from modern living. Enjoy.

We were looking to celebrate the new year weekend away from city in nature's lap and we got it plus 100% farm grown organic food. Its a comfortable drive of 4 hours from Delhi..inside a Rajasthani village exactly in the foothills of Aravalis. It was extremely peaceful & serene with lush green lawns and midst of nature. As to keep... More

As soon as you pass through the large iron gates of Geejgarh Retreat, you see an oasis laid out before you. Whilst the garden, with its palms, frangipani and sandalwood trees, offer a shaded retreat from the Indian sun, the Aravali mountain range surrounding the resort gives you an extremely relaxing and comfortable feel. Contrary to other hotels, you find... More

This stop was mid point of a hectic tend day tour of the Golden Triangle - after the madness of Delhi and Jaipur and before Agra. Couldn't have been timed better. To sit and spend the afternoon in the Indian country, nothing to listen to but birdsong, was idyllic. Individual cottages/huts with "thatched" roofs were basic but did the job... More

We were a bit nervous about staying in a place described as a camp. This place does not offer five star accommodation but it does offer real character, peace, quiet delightful staff and perfectly acceptable chalets. It is a real treat to see the gardens hear the birds and see all the wild life. Do not go if you want... More
