We ended up staying here for 7 nights in total over two trips through Jaipur. We were looking to stay in the pearl palace but we were more than happy we found this little gem. The rooms are clean and spacious with cable tv, air coolers and some of the best bathrooms we have had in India. But the main... More

I was totally lost when it comes to trying to find a hotel in Jaipur and finally settled with this upon looking at their website. This area is actually residential and from the looks of it, slighty affluent area which makes it cleaner and very much quiet and safe. It's usually a homestay area. The hotel is right opposite Pearl... More

The hotel is located on a quiet street and near other famous B&Bs. The rooms were clean and Ravkumar Sharma was very friendly. Some of the rooms near the terrace have great views of the Harhroi Fort ourside their front door.

OK, we didn't actually stay here but I want to recommend the entertainment we came to here (Also, if the service we experienced on the night is indicative of the service if you stay here, then it's worth a recommendation) It was NYE but I think they do this type of event fairly regularly. They have a lovely rooftop space... More

My daughter and I were traveling in Jaipur for a few days and had an excellent stay at Chitra Katha. The owner was extremely helpful and cooperative, as were the staff. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-decorated, and the restaurant had great offerings. There's even a fountain and yard next to the restaurant where you can relax! The... More

Situated on a lovely little road, with nice looking buildings & a few trees! Easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants etc. We tended to use the small on-site breakfast style cafe for breakfast/snacks & went over the road to the hotel opposite for dinner, which was always amazing! (I think the hotel's own roof-top restaurant was under construction...) Reception... More

Hi Tor, (Sorry, don't know the real name) Thank you so much for your review. It is of utmost importance as it improves the quality of our service. This lane is where I grew up and have lovely memories of how we played and fell from these trees. That's why even though everyone suggested that the trees might obstruct the... More

We went to Chitra Katha after another place we were contemplating was fully booked. We knew nothing about this property and stumbled across by complete chance as it was just across the road from the place we were considering and we needed one night's stay before flying out of Jaipur the next day. What a pleasant surprise this has been!... More

We arrived by chance to this hotel because The Pearl Palace Hotel just in front was packed. Hopefully we find out Chitra Khata, a really quiet place, with nice staff, starting with the manager, a kind gentleman that is always ready to help you, and a nice group of Darjeeling Guys that work with him. Good Wi.Fi connection, super clean... More
