Hotel is far away from Jaipur so if you plan to stay there and travel around Jaipur please make sure that you have arranged for conveyance. Having visited this place many times as it is few hours drive from Gurgaon where i reside it has been an ideal weekend getaway. The hotel is converted from a palace of Maharajah of... More

Don't harbour great expections of staying in an opulent & luxurious palace just because the name has the word "Palace" in it - this was a hunting lodge & forest retreat built by the rulers of Jaipur. The property is about 20 km away from Jaipur and is in the middle of nowhere but therefore a boon for those who... More

And revisited around end of June 2008 with over 10 couple friends to throw a farewell to another friend. The most fabulous thing about Lal Mahal Palace is the... More

This hotel is definitely worth going to. It was a hunting lodge, and you sleep in luxury tents in the garden. The tents are wonderfully romantic, it feels great to be in such surroundings. It is very touristy, of course, but the evening entertainment is good, the excursion to the monastery worthwhile, the scenery is good, the grounds are well... More

We stayed here for 1 night in January as part of a Kuoni tour. The hotel is in a lovely setting and has an enthusisastic staff who are keen for games of cricket on the lawn! The accomodation in tents is good. Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are fully plumbed but not heated which is a bit of... More

This hotel was once a Raj's hunting lodge. The special thing about it is that most of the accomodation is in tents! There are about 20 luxury tents set out on the Palace lawns. They are all air-conditioned and very well appointed with proper plumbed bathrooms etc. There twin beds that are really comfortable. I had a fab night's sleep.... More
