The Welcome Hotel is 2 minutes from the main Mumbai rail station (CST Victoria Terminus), and a 5 minute cab to Colaba. It's a great find, fitting in the gap between the expensive mammoths of the Taj / Intercontinental etc and the budget (awful) places. Try it - we did, and loved it.
