This is a great hotel with a beautiful colonial setting. We upgraded to the Maharaja suites and it was definately worth it. Huge room. Massive bathroom vast private verandah. This hotel has grand rooms in an old mansion but ours at least was longer on space than features. Modernisation is needed although the AC is fine. The restaurant was ordinary and service ok but not much better than that. More

The Maharaja suite is out of this world. This hotel, originally built to host the Mysore Raja's guests is worth a visit. The suites (there are four) are the original guest rooms and extremely impressive. The staff and facilities are also great. The restaurant is not bad, but slightly on the expensive side. More
