We had planned a Mysore - Ooty trip by Road from Bangalore. Basis the suggestion from our driver, we booked ourselves into the 'Presidency' for a couple of nights. The photos provided by the agent who made the reservation by no means reflected the state of the hotel. Later I heard from my rental car driver, that this is one of the worst hotel in town. It is also quite a bit of walk from the palace (3 km walk is not that easy if you have family). The... More
