I traveled in India for 3 weeks in December 2012 through January 2013. Since it was winter, it was pretty cold in the North. Hotels aren't know for heat or good insulation but Cottage Yes Please was good on the insulation. It was in a good location at a good rate, too.

NEw Delhi is not the best city in India. It's a stopover place for tourists. But Cottage Yes Please located very close to the train station in the Paharganj area is great. Its well priced for budget travellers. The rooms are clean and with tv. It seems to lack windows but I doubt there would be much to see anyway.... More
