We were told they worked on First come, first served. but when we got there it turns out there was rooms available (Because we waited for like 2 hrs to the manager to come and we checked the rooms) but they were already BOOKED! pretty bad service...

From a logistical standpoint, this hostel well positioned in a unique region. Nothing but good vibes from the management staff and willingness to flex their schedules for our group. Brand spanking new hostel with ridiculously nice showers with raindrop shower heads, clean and new rooms, very chill common areas and everyone very nice...Bell was the best and treated us very well!! They truly understand customer service and I would pay $35 for a private room here anyday!!

There are numerous hostels in Bocas but Hosteluego is for sure something special. It's very new, safe and offers good value for money. After checking the great reviews Hosteluego got on tripadvisor this was our first place to check out after arriving in Bocas del Toro. Unfortunately they raised the prices from 25 to 35 USD for a tiny double room without private bath since November so we decided not to stay here.
