Although not near the Almirante-Isla Colón ferry dock, it is relaxing, great infraestructure and good meals (actually cheaper than most restaurants). Casa Max has good sized,clean rooms most with a balcony. The rooms can get pretty humid & have fans. Whilst we were there they put in air con in another room,so I'm guessing it won't be long before they all have it. There is a hostel over the road which can get pretty noisy but that's the only real drawback.... More

Came for 3 nights, stayed for 7 nights... wished we stayed longer!!! Excellent rooms. Contemporary bathrooms with actual hot water (not just the shower head heaters). We stayed there for 3 night in October (off season) and we really enjoyed the chilled atmospere on the balcony. The room was clean and had high ceilings and a balcony with hammocks and seaview. Beatiful big rooms with good bed and firm matras. The new restaurant by the hotel, 'Karmaway' is delicious and different. For a midrage price you find luxery diner. If it's on the menu, try the lobsterravioli. It's amazing!

The owners, Ari and Shirly are awesome. This is a budget friendly option with private bath, bright colors and is centrally located.
