Decadent eco farm, very luxurous. Without a doubt the most beautiful location we visited. This place makes you feel very special with all the servants in costumes running around. Unfortunately we were dissapointed by the transport service. They could only arrange one taxi driver, which was by far the most expensive in our whole Sri Lanka trip. This is a... More

Jim’s Farm Villas is situated on a working farm in beautiful, peaceful, hilly surroundings, its location is ideal to explore the cultural triangle and within driving distance of major sites. We stayed 5 nights at Hilltop, one of two villas, and sitting by the pool watching the stream of butterflies on their way to Adam’s Peak was one of the... More

Stayed for 5 nights in Hill Top, one of the two villas on this working farm, as a base to explore the many sights of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle, taking time off in between to relax in the peaceful and very beautiful surroundings. You are right in the heart of the countryside, and the approach to the farm passes the... More

This is a wonderful, tranquil haven surrounded by coconut palms and other luxuriant crops growing on the farm - my favourite of all the places we stayed in during our two week holiday in Sri Lanka. The two villas are beautifully furnished and decorated and have large airy rooms with comfortable beds, great showers, air-conditioning and other welcome amenities. The... More

We stayed at Jim's farm for 1 night to break up the journey between the cultural triangle and the south coast, and am so glad we did. We were expecting a nice but slightly expensive stay from all the reviews, but it exceeded all out expectations. The villa is stunning and the rooms spacious, well planned out with a great... More

We arrived after a long drive from Colombo airport (about 4hrs) to a warm welcome and a cold beer. The villas are tucked away deep in the Sri Lankan countryside - but worth seeking out. The room was large, airy and clean - the bed was really comfortable with good quality linen. The en-suite bathroom had both an indoor and... More

What a find! we had been a bit worried that it was quite a drive up into the cultural triangle, but it was more than worth the extra mileage, to have stayed here. We were made very welcome, and felt privileged to have been visiting while the english owner was there. Extreemly comfortable, and a very interesting place to stay,... More

Discretely nestled in a plantation of lush vegetation including pepper, vanilla and a variety of other plants, Jim's Farm Villas is accessed via a paddy field, then up a narrow winding lane. Not easy to find but what a discovery. The eponymous 'Jim' is the late father of the owner, an affable Englishman who named the farm after his father,... More

The manager Jesse made our stay so amazing - a trip of a lifetime for us. I highly recommend that you stay here. You won't be disappointed in any way. Food, accommodation, location and staff are well worth the trip if you are going to Sri Lanka. We will be going back.
