Stayed at this rest house for 1 night and thankfully only 1 night. Room very dark no hot water and rather dirty as well. Dinner and breakfast poor as well. The only decent thing about staying here is the location as you can climb the rock in the early morning. Would not stay at this rest house again.

It was our worst night in Sri Lanka: Cold water, dirty sheets, filthy bathroom (and worms in the shower !!!!), and on top of all, a very unpleasant staff. We still don't know what happen to the Lonely Planet when they wrote a rather positive comment on that hotel.

Noisy room close to the busy road. Dirty curtains pinned together with paperclips. Curtains permanently closed. Filthy pillows, stained pillow cases, 6 inch hole in sheet, flea in bed! A disgusting room.
