An restful 3 night stay here. A beautiful setting and do recommend getting up early and taking a walk to the lake and seeing a little of rural life awakening. The room we stayed in is getting a little old around the edges (bathroom could use a little renewal), but the room was spacious (high ceilings) and clean. The bed... More

It is set back, away from the main village, which makes it very quiet. Rooms are decent enough for this price range. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, arranged a birthday cake at a birthday and smile a lot. Food is good, but don't expect choice or a elaborate buffet. There are only 4 rooms, and a very big walled... More

Spacious clean rooms, friendly staff. Rooms look out onto a beautiful garden. The two friendly resident dogs will take you on a sunset walk to the lake for a view of the rock. Staff able to assist with trip to Dambulla cave. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

My wife and I stayed in a large comfortable double bedroom with bathroom overlooking the large garden, which is well maintained by the Manager Chandana. The only sounds one hears are the birds and the occasional passing of a bullock cart on the narrow lane next to the property. Chandana and his brother were very helpful and friendly during our... Five rooms comprise this low key resort a couple of Kms from the Sigiriya rock fortress. Makes an excellent base for visiting the Ancient Cities. Rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is generous and tasty. Given the location is some distance from restaurants, eating in at night is pretty much the only option, but, fortunately, the food is... More

the most impressive place we stayed in Sri Lanka. cozy yard, nice room. only five rooms available. above all, we enjoyed the most about rhe hospitality of the owner and the tranquility at night. I can hardly find a word to say how nice that feeling was. The only thing bad is that they don't have much exposure on the... More

We stayed two nights at Sigiriya Cottage and used it as our base for exploring Dambulla and Sigiriya. It is fairly basic, but good value for money for what it is. We stayed in a chalet from which we stepped out into a garden with lots of trees and plants. There is a little outdoor eating area where we had... More

We were promised 4 clean air-conditioned double rooms but upon on arrival we were given a few rooms not upto the mark. Re-directed us to Prince Inn which was one or two kilometres away. The condition of the rooms is worst. The Manager can cook well and we had a good dinner. We checked out the next day although we... More
