Had a wonderful time with George and his family. Very clean and comfortable stay. Food was good but a bit pricey. The guesthouse is not situated near the city center and transport can be quite a problem if you're travelling with young children and the elderly. Overall, an enjoyable stay at Kandy Guest House.

We had private balcony room with beautiful view to nature. The room was clean, without A/C, with hot water and free wi-fi.The owner was very helpful (with good english) and his family is very lovely. Breakfast was perfect. We paid 5000 rupies for 1 night with breakfast (2 people). I can recommend this to everyone.

Our stay at George's was lovely. We stayed downstairs which was bright and spacious with a brand new bathroom attached. The grounds and garden were beautiful and the sound of the river added to the tranquil atmosphere, not to mention the amazing wildlife that can be seen. Great hospitality and great host. All round great stay. George replied to every query I had promptly and even arranged for a Tuk Tuk to pick me up from the station to make sure I didn't get lost. Lovely family and lovely house. Having a view of the creek at the back really made the stay very tranquil.
