This was a great place to stay in Kandy for a few days, very clean, comfortable rooms and with a fantastic view from the balcony/dining room. We called ahead and were able to check in at about 9.30am - having travelled straight from the airport we were very travel-weary and glad of a bed! The owner is extremely helpful and... More

This is a lovely place to take in the views of the Lake and the Temple of Tooth Relic after a long day strolling around Kandy. It is a steep walk up from the lake, so a tuktuk might be in order. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was included but dinner was not available here. The rooms... More

We stayed during the December peak period but we only paid 2000 Rs per night. The view from the public balcony / restaurant area is stunning. The owners are very friendly and helpful and are not out to sell you anything extra at all (we found that refreshingly unsual!). The room was simple but clean. If you are not looking... More

We stayed here in July and were entirely satisfied. Nice people, good reasonably priced food, pleasant dining room and excellent veranda with view over the lake. Had one of the two generous rooms with picture window views. But there's the rub. The foreground is pretty grim, a school with asbestos cement roofing that looks more like chicken coops. Better views... More

This is the place or at least one of the best place to stay in Kandy. All the way up the hill with an astonishing view of the lake and the temple of the tooth. The owners are always smiling and running to help you. We had a great time ..and still miss the comfort of that place everywhere we... More

This is a nice place with a great view. The rooms are clean. The people are helpful. It is a good place to stay when you are in Kandy. We enjoyed our time here. Dinner is not served there. It is close to the Tooth relic Temple. We would stay there again. More

We stayed here for two nights, just at the end of the Perahera festival. The resident tuk tuk driver, who is very friendly and helpful, helped us to get seats for the last day of the festival. The couple who run the hotel are also really helpful and friendly. They answered all our questions about train times to Nanu Oya,... More

Small but clean rooms with attached bathrooms. Not much space for your stuff in the room and definitely not a room to stay in reading and relaxing. BUT very very nice common area and a big balcony with the best view in Kandy. You don´t want to stay in your room but just sit on the balcony with a beer... More
