Since they had only one room left, they gave us very spacious room with two double beds and charged only half of the price they use to ask for this room. Restaurant food is very good and hotel staff very friendly. Only mosquitos bother you at the dinner table.

I really, really liked the Milano Tourist Rest. Our room was spacious and very clean. The air conditioning worked very well - which is quite important in hot, hot Anuradhapura! The room was clean, air conditioner worked fabulously and despite the fact our windows looked out onto the kitchen area, we had no complaints. Milano was cheap and the food was excellent - it did the job for our 2 night stay to explore Anuradhapura. The staff were very attentive also.

The Milano Hotel is a good value for money. The room was clean and bathroom above average for Sri Lanka. The restaurant was not very clean but the food tasty. The service was a bit unfriendly. You can rent bicycle for the day which is a convinient way of exploring Anuradhapura.

Nice hotel in Anuradhapura rooms are good, food excellent and the staff very courteous. We arrived late, so all the best rooms had gone, they look very nice, our was not as good but was fine for one night.
