Perched on top of a hill with a full view of Sagada, this resthouse is affordable, comfortable and has a distinct feeling of being a home away from home. There are many choices for the type of accommodation you may choose to have. Their small restaurant serves comfort food at very reasonable prices.

I just loved this place. We stayed right upstairs from the reception with a woderful view over the mountains. Stuff is very nice. You can have a full body massage in one of the rooms (the room was a little too cold, but the massage was wonderful) for 300P. Rooms are clean and charming. At the lobby there is an... More

[I travel mostly for work, but every now and then I squeeze in a personal trip in between assignments so that means I get to stay in all types of hotels/inns- from a hostel with star rating zero to 5-star hotels, depending on who’s paying (clients, office, myself); I also adjust my expectations according to how much the room costs.... I stayed in nice clean bright room ( cottage Jeneva) with comfortable bed, really hot shower, bath amenities. Pretty green garden with different trees, flowers and clipped grass. Two steps to restautant. Very friendly staff. The only minus is unavailability of any means of protection against mosquitoes ( mosquitoes nets). I had antimosquito spirals to get rid of mosquitoes. Very... More

St Joe's was recommended to us by other travellers but in the end we were somewhat disappointed. The walls of the rooms (not the cottages) were paper thin, so other drunken travellers woke/kept us up. The toilets are easily blocked and the hot water in the shower rarely works. On the plus side, wi-fi in reception works well (when Sagada's... More

We could only afford the rooms in the main building here and they were very basic. I am sure the cottages are lovely but hey ho! Our showers were cold water only, but as the owner pointed out, we could heat buckets of water by (and I kid you not here) dropping a heating element in the water. She finished... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last summer. Our room was clean and comfortable and we found the staff very friendly. The gardens out front were wonderful and there was a nice view out over the surrounding area. We found this hotel to be good value for our money and would happily return.

The room had 2 beds and a cabinet. The door to the bathroom didn't open fully because it was blocked by the toilet. I literally received an electrical shock from the top of the shower head. The plug is IN THE SHOWER. The restaurant "St. Joe's Cafe" was never open when it was supposed to be. There were cigarette burns... More

Every time I find myself in the wonderful village of Sagada, I stay at St. Joseph's Rest house. It was recommended to me the first time I was there and have stayed there every time since. Yes, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Anyway I am only sleeping in the room and nothing else. The view from the... More
