The hotel is located on a hill facing the Huascaran Mountain, the highest peak in Peru. Many of the rooms have balconies, our was on the third floor. The hotel is immaculate, with nice gardens. The rooms are spacious and wifi is available without charge. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was very personal and kind. The... More

For the last 15 years or so - I have travelled to Huaraz in Peru to trek in this very beautiful part of the world. Andino Club Hotel - has been a wonderful retreat to come to after after exploreing the charming Peruvian villages and mountains. It offers - Swiss style efficiency and cleanliness - where everything works! The breakfasts... More

Of the hotels in Huaraz, this is probably one of the nicest ones. Advantages are modern, comfortable rooms with a great view. Disadvantage is that it is a bit of a walk to downtown Huaraz and the restaurants. The restaurant is good, but overpriced. I would recommend the restaurants in town. They were very good about storing gear while we... More

We were unable to find our original hotel and were stuck trying to find somewhere to stay quickly as it was getting dark and during the down season it seems like a number of hotels are shut down. So at first we were very happy to find safe secure hotel that was open until we were told the price of... More

Hotel Andino is located at the edge of Huaraz. The staff at the hotel was very warm and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was a delight to the taste buds. We still remember the fish that they serve and we think we can eat it for dinner for several months :). The only issue was... More

Stayed at Andino for one night on a business trip and was generally pleased with the experience. Located on a hill with approx. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Check-in was efficient and the owner was present to help with any non-spanish speakers. The room was clean and had a view towards the back yard. I would recommend asking... More

We used this hotel at the beginning and end of the Cordillera Huayhuash trek. The rooms and the hotel generally were immaculate and the staff very helpful. Lots of hot water, an essential at the end of a hard trek. Food quite expensive compared with local restaurants (but not by UK standards) but excellent quality and variety, particularly the buffet... Swiss run Andino Club, 10 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas, offers modern and comfortable rooms, the upper floors with a great overlooking the city and view into the snowcapped mountains, and a good restaurant oriented on Swiss and German dishes (e.g. "Sauerbraten"). The manager, also Swiss, perfect English and German, is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. More

I stayed here with a group from Adventure Travel while adjusting to the altitude. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the rooms were spotless with a beautiful view of the town and mountains. The breakfast buffet was the best of any I have seen in all of my world travels and that is saying... More
