We stayed here 1 night prior to MP after arriving in AG from our Salkantay Trek. Check was smooth and the room was cute and clean. The shower was strong and we enjoyed the comfort of the bed after hiking for 4 days. Our room was on the top floor and overlooked the river. It was a nice sound to... More

the family running this inn was very hospitable during our recent 2-night stay. there was a power outage in aguas calientes during that time and they provided candles, extra blankets and luckily their water is propane heated so no cold showers! breakfast was included - juice, coffee, tea, bread, fruit, cheese, ham and eggs made to order. location is close... We stayed only one night here, but all of the negative buzz about touristy Aguas Calientes really isn't deserved, and we enjoyed our room at Wiracocha Inn. The promised pickup at the train didn't happen, but I think the people running the Inn don't understand that the email associated with their site isn't working; try the other email! or call!... More

We checked at this place the night before our hike up to Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu. As expected, the place was simple but clean, neat and functional. The staff were very polite, as it was the case all along our stay in Peru. Our room had a nice river view; the sound of a small fall was pleasant as... More

On arrival at Agues Calientes our 'hotel transfer' failed to turn up at the rail station which should have been our first warning. Our second warning was the signs of building works both beside and behind the Inn when we did eventually arrive there. Our room was dark, dismal and damp. There was no natural light or ventilation due to... More

Ah, how wonderful that shower felt after a day of hiking. Hot water- almost scalding- with strong water pressure like a massage. But, bring your own shampoo. There isn't in the room. There was also only one very thin towel. This place is fine for one night, which is all you'll need. Breakfast was lacking. It's not the nicest place... More

This is meant for a basic room. No glitz and glam. Don't plan on unpacking and resting here ... but certainly sufficient if you can keep your travel basic. Had a corner room looking out over the river. Great noise to sleep in.

In regards to the title..... One of the workers of the hotel opened our door ( without knocking )with their own key at 5a.m, turned the lights on and started coming in as we started yelling and covering our naked parts in the middle of a dream. But this wasn't a dream. They mistaken our room for an empty one... More

I thought the hotel itself was cute and the front desk people were nice. The computer was broken, but they let me use their lap top to check my emails and Facebook account after being on the Inca trail for 4 days. The shower was good and my room had a nice view and the wonderful sound of the river... More

The bed in this hotel is amazingly comfortable with a nice warm down comforter, and the shower has hot water all day long - two amenities you will appreciate after a day hiking. Breakfast is lackluster and the checkout is quite early (9am), but overall everything is clean and in good order.
