Thankfully only 1 night but 1 night too many. No hot water, dirty everything and suspected bed bugs. Breakfast was a joke, stale rolls, old cold cuts and cheese. Stayed here only because it was a on our prearranged tour. Will be complaining loudly to the tour operator.

What can I say? this place should be pulled down! What a dump! We were lucky and got a riverview which I appreciated, but the overall place was nasty. I would sooner stay at the Bates motel. Breakfast was garbage! and no one used the restaurant at night. It was buffet that basically sat out most of the day. Internet... More

This hotel could use some love. Everything is obviously out of date and could use a little maintenance work. It was clean at least, and we only spent one night. The real attraction is that it is right on the river. If you can get a river view room it is pretty impressive. Its incredibly loud in a good way.... More

We stayed in the Hanaqpacha Inn in Aguas Calientes for 1 night in May 2011 as part of an OAT tour. The back rooms of this hotel look straight down onto the Urubamba River; the front rooms look down onto railroad tracks, no more than 10 ft away from the hotel’s front door. Across those tracks – and at an... More

Loved the big windows, you can get looking over train tracks or river. We had the tracks and enjoyed watching the trains go by. spacious and clean bathroom. Wonderful dinning room right on the river. The staff was warm and helpful. Great peaceful location away from the bustle of the main square yet just steps away.

This is definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room is very small and had a weird smell. The hotel is not located in a nice part in town and is facing the train rack. Shower did not work because there was no cold water. Hotel staff can barely speak any English. Stay away from this hotel if... More

The train noise didn't bother us though we initially thought the canned announcements whenever a train took off would keep us awake. The lunch buffet was a wonderful way to try a variety of unfamiliar foods. Our TV didn't work and the hot water comes and goes.

This hotel is located on the railroad tracks. Loading platform looks into your room if on the track side. River side may be better. Trains run until 10:30 pm. and begin at 5:15 am. Plumbing was in disrepair and breakfast buffet was cold. Staff was friendly and did what they could to fix things. Rooms were small. Located in the... More

3 Star hotel was fine for short stay, didn't look like this hole in the wall town had much better to offer, and probably not worth more money to stay elsewhere. We did have a room on track side, but the noise really wasn't an issue as trains stopped running around 9pm, and we were up in am to see... More
