One of the VERY limited options for a group of 4 (1 room) in AC. We got the room with no windows, but didn't care much since we were here to shower and sleep and get up as early as possible. The manager is very nice person, works extremely hard and helped us a lot. Internet is not working properly,... More

My wife and I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the PeruRail station. The room we had was like a 4-Star location. As a previous reviewer stated, the TV is small, but if you have come to watch TV, stay at home. For as far as a place to shower and sleep, you could do much worse. The... More

We got a great room with views of the mountain, river and train station! The room was very, very clean as was the hotel. The bathroom was updated, hot water shower and sink. The linens were new and lovely, with clean towels and clean room daily. The room was quiet at night with the noise of the river all we... More

Reading other Tripadvisor reviews we agree that in real terms Machu Picchu is a one night stay town. But at this hotel we had to suffer high price and horrible service. Surely there must be better. No wi-fi - due to the rain? No hot water for our early morning shower - due to the laundry being washed? No wardrobe... More

This hotel is located next to the train station, be careful because you can hear the trains coming in all night. Unfortunately we had to wake up at 5 AM to catch the early bus to Macchu Picchu so we tried to go to bed early. The room feels like a hostel and when you pay hotel room prices you... More

I think most people staying in Aguas Calientes are there for one night to see Machu Picchu the following morning. We stayed one night and our stay was not great but far from bad. The pros: * Close to the rail station, just a few minutes walk away and someone was at the station waiting for us. * Clean comfortable... More

First of all, you don't really need to stay in Aguas Calientes for any length of time, 1 night at the most is sufficient. it's super touristy and overpriced. We were trapped here for 2 nights on the basis of mis-purchased train tickets, which was way too long of a stay. Anyway, my husband booked this place based on the... More

We made our reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived on the late train, the staff claimed they had an "internet problem" and took forever to have our room ready. In the meantime they checked in 2 groups ahead of us. When we got impatient -- already looking at less than 4 hours of sleep before waking early to climb... More

Decent room for the price and location. Outstanding service throughout, included accomodating our late-night arrival with one extra person beyond expected (five in family), very hospitable for weary tourists on a budget. Breakfast was the only shortfall.

I was here for an overnight stay prior to my visit to Machu Picchu. The location was great...someone greeted me at the train staion at 10:30 am, and we had just a short walk to the hotel. Considering that most of Aqua Calientes is uphill from the train station, it felt good to not exert myself. The room was ready... More
