Inti Punku is not a luxury option by any stretch, but it is well situated, clean and reasonably priced (compared to higher-end hotels in Aguas Calientes or the Sanctuary Lodge). We figured that 4 or 5 times as much for the room was silly to spend considering we'd only be there for such a short time and we didn't come... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Machu Picchu. We booked another hotel that wasn't great, so we wandered from the train station to find this hotel just 5 minutes away. The breakfast spread was reasonably good, the room was clean but outdated, and the bathroom was very mediocre. It's 5 minutes from the train station, and... More

We had a river side room which was an incredible value for the price. The beds were soft, the rooms clean, the water hot, the view stunning, and the sound of the river was magical. Perhaps the less favorable reviews were from guests who stayed on the city side of the hotel. More

We paid about US$60 for this hotel which is not alot, but the bed is like sleeping on uneven timber floorboards. Would probably recommend researching a few other options before trying this one. More

This hotel is overlooking the train stain. The rep did not meet us at the train station, so thankfully another worker showed us to the hotel. (Take a right out of the station, once you pass the market, take a right and the hotel is a couple buildings down on the left.) It's definitely bare bones, but it worked for... More

Room clean, good size for three beds. Beds comfy but as usual ear plugs required. Bathroom clean, plenty hot water and towels. TV worked, true not a lot of storage but then most people don't stay more than a night or two. Breakfast ok (a little heavy on the salt), internet and a little seating area with a couple of... More

I can but echo what others have said - this hotel is right by the train station. But there again Aguas Calientes is just a tourist town strung out along the railway track. It is up to you to decide if the noise is a problem For us the warmth and helpfulness of the staff, plus the quality of the... More

Friendy staff, good continental breakfast, average rooms, good location. A decent stay for one night in Aguas Calientes. A bit hard to sleep, as it was New Year's Eve and the town's children were running wild with deafening firecrackers, but that's hardly the fault of the hotel. The morning view from one of our windows was spectacular. More

We were on our honeymoon and my husband was not happy with the hotel so we went looking around and we were EXTREMELY lucky and HAPPY to find this hotel. We told them we were on our honeymoon and when we returned to the room they had flowers and a bottle a wine - we had been in Peru in... More
