Same as the other reviews. Very friendly family, we dealt with Damus (?) most of the time who was hilarious. Food was great too, have the Repocheta! Off the beaten path and away from the nosiy crowds. Family owned Monkey Island offers charming service, great homestyle cooking, free kayaking, direct access to beach, and basic but cozy rooms at budget prices. We ended up staying 3 days longer than planned. Certainly an authentic Nicaraguan experience and worth every penny. More
