This is a small and comfy hotel right next to the main square of Chefchouen's medina. It is not very expensive and the rooms are nice and well decorated in a traditional-ish way :) The shower in my room was a bit small but nothing you can't live with. Breakfast was good and plentiful with a great view from the... More

Our room - IN the lobby - is fine at face value. But once you move in the noise and the smells all start to add up. EVERY guest who uses the bathroom can be heard from this room. EVERY guest who knocks on the door can be heard from this room. EVERY conversation in the lobby may as well... More

There are some good points with this hotel (good location, pretty terrace) and if the price were cheaper, I'd recommend this place for these features alone. However the negatives far outweigh the positives here in my view. You can't open the windows because it smells like sewage (just disgusting), which if you're a fan of air-con fan is fine, but... Located at the edge of the Medina so you taxi drop off is convenient. Nice staff but limited in helping with the air conditioning unit. It was 32 degrees Celsius in our room today (June)! They said we'd have to open the windows but it was during the day and hot outside. At nite it was too noisy until after... More

We've stayed at a few Riads in Morocco & have been sorely disappointed at the over ratings provided by reviewers. No doubt at most places Moroccans give you a good service & are helpful & also pursuade you to write a good review on tripadvisor, but this does not mean you mislead others. One of the places we chose after... More

I stayed in this place on my second night in Chef. I found it on the way out of the medina back to the hotel I stayed in my first night. I went inside to check it out and liked it so much better than the place I was, I checked out of that one and checked into the Dar... More

Me and my two friends stayed here for 2 nights in September. We had actually picked another place to stay, but the taxi driver dropped us off outside of the medina and the first place we saw was Dar Zman. We were hot and exhausted, so we decided to give it a try. It was a good choice. The staff... More

Dar Zman is a typical guest house - in Moroccan style. It is very near the old medina of Chefchaouen. The location is great for exploring the town and surrounding areas. There are 8 rooms, every one different from the other! The staff is friendly and polite. The room we stayed in was amazing! En suite, huge comfy bed, stylish... More

Stayed two nights with partner in July. Room was clean and tidy. As with other reviews the bathroom is small but did the job. Breakfast was also pretty good. Staff were helpful and offered assistance where they could. overall no complaints and of a good standard. Also very easy and quick to main square...
