Dar Manara, in the beautiful, clean and artsy medina of the seaside town of Asilah is a lovely little gem of a place. It's wonderfully decorated, ideally located, central for those that want to walk around the medina and explore the area of Asilah. Ana, the owner was away but Said greeted us and made us feel very welcome. He... More

Excellent hotel, recommended. We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful attention to detail and presentation. Tasteful rooms. Good showers. Nice terrace though shame you can't see the sea. Well located. Some really peaceful other spaces such as the courtyard. Excellent freah breakfasts. Really friendly owner who is able to provide lots of help. Quite compared to a lot of riads. Overall,... More

We stayed one night in this beautiful little seaside village. Hotel Dar Manara was a fantastic place to stay. It was clean, quiet, and stylish. The service including the owner, Anna, was fantastic. They were very warm and helpful toward their guests. We visited in April.

We visited Assilah and Dar Manara only some days ago. The small hotel is fine and also the location, but the owner Ana is sharp as a knife and she talked to us like we were children not behaving. We can't understand that a lot of guests before us say the opposite. She is following every step you take and... More

Very friendly lady who helps you to find the best places (restaurants, beaches etc) in Asilah. Nice (little bit small) rooms, and everything in Maroccan style (even the bathroom). There is a rooftop terrace, although it was too cold to have breakfast outside. location is perfect, in the middle of the medina, you can walk to the beach in 5... More

This was a very classy place. The owner Ana is very kind and takes very good care of the place. Her style is very classy and she has done a great job making the Riad very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and Ana brought us some mint tea in beautiful silver, we felt at home. The other staff was very... More

I stayed here last week (mid February) as part of a group of 3. After the hustle and bustle of Tangier Asilah and Hotel Dar Manara were a welcome oasis of calm and serenity. Ana, the owner, couldn't be a better host. She was extremely helpful and communicative both before and during our stay. I should add that the taxi... More

Staying at Dar Manara, in Asilah, was one of the best experiences of our trip to Morocco. Besides their excellence in customer care, decoration and the authentic and tasteful Moroccan breakfast, we have received the warm welcome of Ana Caballero and her very competent staff. In regards to the infrastructure, we noted that the hotel personnel constantly took care of... More

Generally, we really liked this riad with a few minor caveats. Starting with the positives – the riad has a beautiful interior with a fountain, a fireplace (which we didn’t use), and a lovely roof. It’s a mix of modern and more classic artwork and other decor, not all of it Moroccan but it all works together beautifully. Said speaks... More

Being based in Rabat, Asilah is a safe haven for me to escape to. Normally I stay somewhere else but a friend recommended Ana's hotel and he did rightly so! It's a gorgeous place, well maintained, beautifully decorated and a welcoming place to stay, especially for a single female. It's in the Medina but not off the beaten track really... More
