After a couple of visits it feels like returning to something familiar. It's now part of our itinerary when bringing clients to Ait. Very friendly owners and staff. The food is also excellent too. With new bedrooms and very comfortable beds it's great value for money. A useful base in a special place. Highly recommended. More

Ait Ben Haddou is a must see on any trip to Morocco, and the Auberge Bagdad Cafe is the perfect place to stay (reservation recommended). I arrived at 5pm with two hours of daylight left. The young owner welcomed me warmly. Upon learning that I wanted to leave early the next morning, he immediately volunteered to escort me on a... More

We researched Bagdad Cafe before booking but were still rather dubious as to what it would be like, we couldn't have been more wrong! Mohamed and Rose (the owners) are charming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was comfortable and had real Moroccan charm, the breakfast was the best we had all holiday and the location was an... More

We stayed there the 30th of March for1 night together with a couple friends of us in Café Bagdad and it was perfect. The welcome was so warm, just as coming home. The french owners are very friendly and helpfull. The food is very nice, there are international dishes or moroccan food all prepared very good. The rooms are spacious... More

Travelling from Marrakech to Ourzazate via Telouet, we came across Ait Ben Haddou and the famous Kasbah now protected by Unesco. Ait Ben Haddou is a one road town lined with hotels. Which one? Luckily we'd come across a charming man who gave us a tip. "Go to Bagdad Cafe". We did. We were welcomed by the owner who showed... More

Very friendly family owned hotel. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Excellent location near the impressive ancient kasbah. Having super there is recommended; quality food, lively atmosphere and interaction with other guests. The exterior does not seem very appealing but the rest of the place is lovely. More

I went to the hotel Bagdad café, very frightened of what I would find in this hotel. Indeed, being myself half Morroccan and travelling to Ait Ben Hadou once every year I had many many bad surprises like "La Baraka" in where we were being insulted and treated as wallets. In Bagdad café I was received with a very warmth... More

One of the highlights of our trip. The double room was huge, even having the bathroom inside. We loved the decoration and the enviroment, really warm and paceful, and the bed was really comfortable, specially after a long day driving. (It has also a little nice garden where chilling out but unfortunately we could not enjoy it on the dates... More

Having read the glowing reviews, we had high expectations from the beginning and were very much looking forward to a first rate experience. Pros: - very clean - safe - I agree that the food indeed was good (especially the lamb prune) Cons: - it feels more like a hostel (e.g. No room service, no soap, no heater,) - past... More

We loved it here, wish we stayed longer. The owners are so lovely and genuinely friendly. The food was great too - best tagine we had in Morocco and a beer too. Breakfast was fabulous - standard Morroccan but really well done. We had adjoining rooms, they were big and clean and warm. A highlight of our trip - and... More
