Had a good time staying here. Enjoyed strolling around the golf course. Like the lobby. A nice place to sit after tiring walks. The room is spacious but needs more work. Maybe a new paint job. Bedding has to be changed. Eventhough clean, but too 'old' lah. Bathroom is big enough and clean. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast was good but... More

Went for a 3 day 2 night short trip with my family. Initially we booked The Pines fron the Internet! It was dirty and so horrible. The sofa was sticky, drapes not washed in years and some funny smell! The next morning i checked into Shahzan. This placed saved my holiday. Staff were great, rooms were excellent and everything was... More

I was lucky to have booked a room overlooking the golf course which was fine, very clean and tidy, although the fittings were a little dated. The staff were lovely, with Mr Mohammad, the manager, being very helpful. The restaurant service was a little slow, but the food was fine. The hotel is perfectly situated for nature walks and bird... The best thing to say about this place is its in a good location and the staff are pleasant. Buffet style breakfast is OK and we had a surprising good evening meal. However the whole place is in dire need of a makeover. We were on the third floor overlooking the front garden. The whole floor smelt damp/musty and was... More

Stayed here as part of a seminar deal, which I didn't end up fully utilizing as I wanted to be outdoors most of the time. Hence, overpaid for a garden view room. Here are the pros and cons of the place: Pros - Central, which is basically two minute walk to the center of 'town' being mostly the clock tower... More

The whole idea of travelling to Fraser's Hill is to enjoy the weather (cooler than Cameron Highlands) and to relax. So I did not expect very much from this hotel. On the whole the staff were polite and helpful. The beds were comfortable. There was a shower but the hot water ran out in the night and the next morning... More

Actually is probably the cleanest place in Fraser's Hill. We came to Fraser's Hill without any prior hotel booking and practically started a day with looking for accomodation. After viewing ALL hotels we decided to check-in in Shahzan. It's not a top perfect place but offers clean rooms with daily change of bed lining, equipped with TV (7 local channels),... More

Always loved Frasers Hill and last trip was Dec 2010 while the entire area was undergoing upgrading works. Glad to return and find nearly everything transformed. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Okay, about Shahzan Inn. The most well located lodging, it was pretty run down through the years and Pine Resorts was my default place to stay. This round however Shahzan... More

This was my 3rd visit to fraser but 1st time stay in the hotel. The room was clean n comfy enough as my 3 mths old bb slept safely & soundly throughout the 1 nite stay. Helpful, smiley staffs. Area and environment was great (compared with insecured feeling during my previous stay @ Silverpark). Bfast was not as expected (they... More
