we arrived here at around 8.00 pm, extremely tired, but were very warmly welcomed by the staff and a nice central fireplace. This camp is located at the rear end of lake Nakuru national park and as the road was under major repairs, the journey seemed never ending. The time taken to the lake Nakuru national park entrance is about 45... More

This was a big disappointment in our trip. For $400 a double bedroom, it is way above what it worth. I liked the location and the lake Nakuru, but I really wasted my money in that hotel, it is not luxury at all, the staff is far worse than any French hotel, at least for this kind of price. I... I have booked this lodge based on these reviews. The staff was extremely rude, the $400 for the twin bed room is completely unjustified. This was to be one of our best lodge in our trip, it is the most expensive but does not worth the Rondo retreat which costs $80. Above all the staff was not helpful at all.... More

We had an amazing time during our here. The safaris had a completely different look about them as compared to Samburu. A very special mention needs to be made of Joseph (the manager of Mbweha Camp). He and his team at the Mbweha Camp took exceptional care of us and totally pampered us during our stay there which made our... More

Wonderful two-night stay in one of the very well furnished lava cottages. Very cosy fire-place in the middle of the "bar". Delicious "international" vegetarian food with variously spiced casseroles. The camp-organized night-game drive within the conservancy area had hyenas, foxes, buffaloes, warthogs, gazelles in the "floodlight". Being the only guest during this end of November low-season, I was really pampered... More

We stayed here for two nights. The accommodation in this tented property is best described as cave like. The food on our first night was a disaster. The chef was away and was replaced by someone whose cooking skills were at best questionable. Unfortunately the food was inedible. Most of the guests went hungry. The manager apologized the following day... More

We had a great stay here, the food and atmosphere were both very different than our experiences at the Porini Camps. Our room was great (almost wished we were there more to enjoy it). Lake Nakuru was a great park to visit. Unfortunately it's flooded right now and we did not get to see as many flamingos as we expected.... More

Little was known about this place when our travel agent booked us into this camp. Our only regret was that we stayed only one day at the camp. Everything was just perfect. The location was great. The rooms were uniquely styled. Staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend this place highly.

Mbweha camp borders Nakuru National Park and is within a conservancy. The place is serene, well thought out with cottages that give maximum privacy. Staffs are extremely friendly and efficient. Food was excellent with an ala carte menu to choose from. Animals sighted on the night game drive were a “first time see “, for these mainly nocturnal animals including... More

We stayed here during a safari trip through Kenya: the two nights we spent were very comfortable and the staff obliging. There was a very nice touch with the way they managed the cool weather at night: hot water bottles were placed in our beds while dinner was being served. A very nice touch and consistent with the good, low... More
