We stayed two nights in Hien Guest House. The room was very clean and simply (10$ per night incl. aircon, hot water, balcony). The family was nice and helpful. Since the prices for a Mekong tour ( incl floating markets etc.) are everywhere in Can Tho almost the same, it is ok to book directly at the hotel thats more... More

I just stayed at this place for 2 nights and was very surprised when I came on here and saw all the negative reviews. I stayed in guesthouse II and it was very clean and comfortable and had a rooftop common are where you could watch the sunset. Also, the couple that runs the place are both super nice and... More

Found this place in my guidebook, saying this is a special and friendly place, but the owner, a lady gave me the feeling of being something like a "money printmachine". Starting with selling tours for one person 20$, which is much to expensive for this area, selling bus tickets and so on. they were also chasing me in the city,... More

Even though the rooms were alright they definitely had passed they best years. AC was very noisy and nobody was ever at the reception. We arrived in the evening and were straight confronted by guy who worked for the guest house who offered us a tour to the floating market. This was quite expensive and when we checked out other... We hadn't decided on a hostel in Can Tho so just picked this one out the Lonely Planet. Stayed only because we didnt want to wander around. We stayed in Hien 1 which was the attic of the owners house. VERY hot so you need the air-conditioning on! Room very very basic and mattress uncomfortable. Bathroom was downstairs in house... More

We arrived here late at night and had a quick look at the room - big enough (double bed), bathroom OK, for the most part clean - and stayed here as we really didn't want to look around any more! As soon as we were checked in they started to push for their boat trip and bus tickets etc. We... More

We stayed two nights there. The room was small and clean - nothing about that. The mekongddelta tour they sold us was very nice but way to expensive. Then we bought a bus-ticket from the "owner" (he was just a guy who spoke english) for much money and when we arrived at the bus station this bus did not exist!!... More

We found 3 available rooms after being let down by Xuan Mai II (http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g303942-d1936476-r112125417-Xuan_Mai_II_Hotel-Can_Tho_Mekong_Delta.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT). We stayed in the newer part. The location is good, very close to the port and rover front promenade. The rooms were small but clean with windows, hot shower, fan and AC. They can provide breakfast, sell soft drinks and beer and make a laundry. Right... More

When we checked into the guesthouse I was assured by the owner (who is very creepy and likes to snoop around) that there was WIFI and hot showers. We checked the room, which looked fine, including the shower. Soon after we realise that there is no WIFI, and the owner mentions something about his daughter is away and he cant... More
