The saying 'Looks can be deceiving' applies here. The road to get to the hotel makes it look a bit dubious, however, the hotel is a wonderful place.The rooms are very nice and elegant. Agree totally with Tony from Perth. Thanh Dat is really value for money (US$20/room) - the rooms are big and clean, the beds are firm, the sheets are quality sheets and not the normal pathetic white ones, the toilets are big, the surroundings are lovingly manicured, the food is great value for money (lunch for 4 of us costs only... We arrived by taxi which left us near a long,narrow dusty lane and we were quite nervous thinking we had made a huge mistake.
