I booked this hotel based on all the positive reviews from tripadvisor. I was a little concerned with their internet site after I had booked as I noticed the address listed was different to other booking sites including tripadvisor. Along with that I noticed there were no phone details on their website which I found strange. But all was fine... More

We visited the Tharaburi Resort during april 2012 and although the weather was roasting hot the nice pool area and a cold beer made it tolereable. It is a small cosy hotel and all the staff are friendly and helpfull especially Wattana the manager. It is great riding bikes to the World Heritage Site which only takes about 10 minutes... More

The Tharaburi Resort is a small boutique hotel near the old city of Sukhothai. It is a good 20-minute drive from the airport and new Sukhothai. The hotel offers a shuttle service but we opted for the shared van (easily booked at the airport), a much cheaper alternative. The resort would be a fair walk to the historic district in... More

My first visit to Sukhothai was made even more special by my stay at Tharaburi Resort. The Resort is located a shirt bike ride from the walls of the World Heritage Site (Old City area) and was a great refuge to escape the scorching March heat. The pool is a good size with a couple of comfortable sunlounges for relaxing... More

Stayed in a Grand Deluxe room, there was a jacuzzi. However, there was a problem with the drain. Foods in the restaurant was disappointing and there were limited choices at breakfast. Waitresses do not know how to serve wine properly. Staff were very helpful. The swimming pool was nice. More

Family of four, with two adults and two small children. Stayed two nights while visiting historical park. This place is a little strange. At checkin, we were handed they key (and padlock!) to the "Tharaburi Suite," which was spacious enough. We had a king bed and our kids got mattresses on the floor in a separate room. The rooms felt... More

After doing some research and study about Sukhotai, i chose Tharaburi because of its very good location and just so close to the historical park. When i arrived, it' s much better than i expected for the middle size hotel. It's very cozy, relaxing with very nice decor , very good facilities & great twisted Thai design. It's right idea to... More

The Tharaburi is a small and quiet place, with a lovely pool, nice rooms and a good restaurant. Breakfast is included and they make eggs and other things to order. It also has free bicycles and is close enough to the historical park that it is a comfortable ride. There are several interesting streets to discover in the area, including... More

We stayed for one night in the Chinese room. After considering a few other, cheaper places, in the end I was glad we had chosen the more upmarket option, as we were quite tired when we arrived from driving all day. The room was nice and very spacious, however there were a few things I wasn't too impressed with. Firstly,... More

Pros: - We stayed in room 301 which is Chinese-themed and it was really beautiful, and very original (not tacky). - The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly and helped with a few minor issues we had. - You can rent bikes cheaply and explore the historical sites that way - we did this and it...
