I stayed here recently for work and it was a very nice location on the beach, but miles away from anywhere. Lucky I had my bike, the staff to my surprise were very unfriendly, long faces don't make a pleasant stay. The restaurant and mini mart on the grounds are expensive.

The hotel had many good points but we didn't like being high up as the walkways weren't child friendly and our five year old is mischievous. I stayed in this hotel for nine nights. the staff is so cheerful and helpful. the food is amazing. the rooms are perfect air conditioned. i highly recommend it an also affordable price per night breakfast included :)

Haad Yao beach is very nice. It is far enough away from Haad Rin and the hordes of young party goers. Yet it is still close enough to visit the full moon party (if that's what you want to do).
